| There's a new free map available for download. The new map can be downloaded HERE. This is no Infrantry Only map. This is a full-on tank battle. Be prepared for dealing with choppers, jets and plenty of armor. It's a large map and requires the use of vehicles to get to strategic points. Check it out! |

| I've done some investigating into the sigs not showing up. Apparently bf2players.com is moving their servers to new hardware and the sigs will be down until the move has been completed. The latest update regarding the move was done today so I would not expect to see them up until tomorrow or Thursday. |

| I finally found the time to clean up that shitty design and put something slightly more professional looking together (Fixed the Firefox issue). Not that it's anything spectacular, but at least it's less of an eye-sore. The new year is upon us and the ranks of decent servers without smacktards, bunny-hoppers and whores is dwindling. Hopefully we can keep up the pace until another decent game for killing, ball-busting and drinking copious amounts of booze arrives on our doorstep. |

| Looks like BF2142 is coming up soon!! The demo is slated for widespread release Thursday, Oct. 5. The full game should hit the stores in two weeks!! I won't be jumping right away, but I suspect I'll be getting the game by the end of the month just to keep up with The Monkeyboy! Clan tag for BF2142 will be any variant of TWANG you wish to use. I believe we can set temporary clan tags in BF2 now, so there's no need to create a player name with TWANG, just create a player name in game, then set the tag at game time. |

| The boards are updated with several forums on upcoming games including Battlefield 2142 which is due out in mid-October. I've been reading alot info on BF2142 and there's been alot of positive comments from beta testers. They say that although there are still some bugs that should be fixed by release, the graphics and gameplay are actually improved over BF2. Now I need to buy a new gaming rig. I've tinkered with a theme for the boards so if you're not already, try out the Twangmen Special theme!! This weekend will find me at the Frederick Champions to see The Reagan Years on Friday night. Down to Byrd Stadium to tailgate and see the Terps kick around some School for the Blind on Saturday. Sunday you may find me in the game in the late afternoon/evening. |
